How many of you are NOT going to buy a SS, simply becuase it does not offer a Manual?

I for one will not buy it, until it gets a 3rd pedal. Anybody else?

I NEEDED all wheel drive.
I WANTED a dual clutch transmission.
The only way I'd buy a SS Sedan now would be if I got an INCREDIBLE deal.

The SS Sedan's lack of AWD and DCT makes the price the only selling point.
You can buy a Charger with a V8 and AWD for just over $30k.
I bought my brand new G37x sedan for $33k with a sunroof, it runs 13's in the 1/4, and it's exterior/interior looks AWESOME.
Hopefully, the next Camaro wil not the be the complete FAIL that it is in every category or the next Mustang can be had for under $30k with a V8, IRS suspension, and a manual or DCT.

I hate to say it, but the Infinitis, GTR and the Audi S7 are making the LSx/LT1 cars look worse and worse every day.
Why the F can't GM get it right and offer the OPTIONS that people actually want ???

This car is what it is. If the price point is kept at $40K or below, it WILL sell. It's not an SRT killer and shouldn't be put in the category unless it exceeds the $45K price point. It's not an S-series, AMG, M-series or anything like that. If you expect that, this not the droid you're looking for. AWD is not an issue for me as we don't get snow and the auto only is no problem as long as it shifts well. Sitting in traffic with a GT5 is not fun so I don't think this would be any different. Price-point is key to me if this will end up in my garage!

Non issue with me. Need an auto anyway since my wife can't drive a manual. It would be my work car which means a ton of driving. I'll row thru the gears with my 71 Vette.

I will not buy one until it has a manual. I could deal the the LS3, because its a great engine, but my only worry would be buying one and the next model year they bring out the LT1 or better engine, kinda like they did with the GTO. So I will probably be waiting on the 2015-2016 SS.
