My dealership helped line up the outside shops to do the work. I might have paid a little extra but I got it all done before I picked it up.

Wheels powder coated too. Local shop through dealership. They are a dark metallic graphite. Super cool! Glitter in full sun look almost black at night..

Super happy on the appearance, thank you.
any better pictures of the wheels ?

Ended up not powdercoating them clear, took them to 3 shops in Phoenix last week and all said they didn't want to take a chance on messing up the polish! Geez....

try something like zoops seal , zoops went out of business , but it was a coating that works well for this , i also found this on a quick search and looks like the company mentioned was started from a guy from zoops - https://www.svtperformance.com/forums/threads/zoop-seal-is-no-more.750729/

if you get bored one weekend , is like to try one side of those on my jungle green :) ill buy lunch ;)

Mama is visiting this weekend, doubt she is gonna let me play with cars.... great tip on the Zoops though.

I did buy a few cans of >> https://duplicolor.com/product/custom-wrap-automotive-removable-paint in clear and in silver for the back side. Going to try this first but likely order some Zoops to see how that works. I wasn't able to get 100% of the clearcoat off the inside of the wheel; needless to say the analretentivejackweed in me says I need to get the inside looking proper...
ive been tempted to color match the inner barrels to the car , which is good that mine sees limited weekend use , lol

so i agree the inside barrels need to look proper too !!

i think the G8 emblem is different from the SS

if all you want is the rear emblem , its best to contact karo , the trunk badge is in with the grill kit , i know he will sell the rear emblem by itself

Actually have been following that post on Facebook and plan to be there despite the 50+ mile run from Buckeye! Thx for the invite... what time do most people get there? I'm thinking 5-6PM'ish...
its usually best to be there like 3-4 , its easier to get spots , and gives you time to enjoy the day , before the rif raf shows up, lol
