Today Chevrolet announced additional 2014 model vehicles will allow Apple iPhone users to utilize Siri in the car. Dubbed Siri Eyes Free, the 2014 Camaro, Cruze, Equinox, Malibu, SS and Volt have been added to the list of Siri-friendly Chevy's.

It just gets better ... Maybe replace the Chevy badges with Cadillac???

Just as an FYI Siri works just find over the Bluetooth in a current GM vehicle. From Cadillac to Corvette and Silverado it works the same. Establish a BT phone connection to the car and your iPhone. Once done and your just say listening to the radio, hold down the center home button on your iPhone for a couple seconds. Your car will then mute the audio and beep. You can then ask Siri whatever you want and she'll send texts or whatever without any sort of hand interaction with the phone. Once you are done , hit either the center button on your phone or the hang up button your car. It will say "call ended".

Siri couldn't find me accommodation in Bathurst, however brought up heaps of stuff on Back first and bath first
I think the important distinction is that you will be able to access Siri without even needing to touch the iPhone to initiate. Which is important with many places in Australia, and I can only assume jurisdictions around the US banning even touching the phone even when not in use.

Simple to use:

Select Voice command button on wheel
Say BlueTooth
Say Voice
Siri ding
Say "call wife" "what's the weather like"
Siri will answer

I use this a lot to call people in my contacts, works well.
