MGW’s own Retro shifter. I had the flat stick originally but hated how it was offsetted in the opening. Made shifting difficult with my long arms so I ordered the Retro shifter adapter from them afterwards.Nice! Which adapter did you use?
This topic gives a good look of the MGW shifter in question….MGW’s own Retro shifter. I had the flat stick originally but hated how it was offsetted in the opening. Made shifting difficult with my long arms so I ordered the Retro shifter adapter from them afterwards.

Very nice. So, no modification needed to use the original black/red stitching surrond?Nice! Which adapter did you use?
You might want to look at your shift boot. The original is not black with red stiching....you order a custom shift boot from Redline to get red stiching.Very nice. So, no modification needed to use the original black/red stitching surrond?
Haha. I did after I posted. Ummm, the car is still new to me.You might want to look at your shift boot. The original is not black with red stiching....you order a custom shift boot from Redline to get red stiching.
nice, thanks. What to select for the shift boot size or with the mgw will it be the same as original?Congrats on the new to you SS!!!. Mine was under $100 shipped. I installed it with the MGW short throw shifter. When I went to redline to get the link, they appear to be having a 20% off sale.
