Saw a pretty blue car at Microsoft campus in Redmond today. Didn’t move quickly enough to take a photo

Hey guys, it's my once a year post on the forums! LOL. I hate to say it, but I am considering selling my 2017 Nightfall Gray, roof, spare, manual trans. The poor thing has just become a total garage queen since I started working virtual a couple of years ago. At 35 months after purchase, it's got less than 18,500 miles on it, and I've only driven it a handful of times in the past four months.

Anyway, if y'all know of somebody locally who is looking for a mint 2017, please let me know. It's stock except for a Roto-Fab intake, exterior Holden badging and black trim, stock wheels powdercoated black, a Holden airbag and Holden trunk liner. Oh, it's also got STEK DynoShield paint protection film on the entire front end + side mirrors, and Ceramic Pro Gold over the entire car.

I'll probably ask $42K, which I think is fair given the market for these things, especially under 20K miles. All stock parts including the Chevy airbag are included with the sale.

Thanks,

Pat

Bad news Pat, don’t lose faith... Take a look at the Mileage thread, your sled is getting more work than many! And what’s so bad about a little royalty in our lives anyway!? Just look at what happens to the Brits when they lose theirs! God save the Queen!

Going to need another "beast mode" manual after kid's graduation 2021...lol

2005 CRV totalled last month in GA...automatic wagon replacement should be delivered in 4-10 months.

GLWS!!!! But hope you enjoy your immaculate NGM Dark Angel a little while longer at least until its powertrain train warranty expires...life's too short of drive boring cars.

RIP #24

I think about selling my garage queen too. After 2.5 years I haven't even turned over 3k yet and I drove it home from California. But instead I just tell myself THIS will be the summer I start driving it.

Thanks Beau (and Bob!). Crisis averted- I took the car out today and after about five minutes I thought "naah, no way I can sell this thing." :D . I just need to drive it more.

My 17 SS with 7K on it has been in my garage since October and not driven until yesterday. Pulled it out of the garage, let it warm up while I aired the tires up to spec. Took it out for a spin and no evidence of flatspotting. Stock tires, stored on concrete floor, about 60 degrees in the garage.

Any advice on preventing tire flat spots from fellow seattle garage queen owners?
Not in Seattle, but when I store mine for the winter I put just under 50lbs pressure in the Michelin PSS tires. This has solved the problem for me, but your results may vary. Of course, I am not advising you to inflate your tires beyond manufacture specs, just sharing what I do...

Other options:
1) Place the car on properly located jack stands at a height so the majority of the weight is on the jack stand and the tires/wheels are supported but not fully loaded with the weight of the car.

2) Raise each corner of the car and rotate each tire 1/4 turn, lower back and repeat each month.

3) Car on jack stand, remove wheels, leave tires mounted and reduce pressure to 15psi or so. Store mounted tires off the car.

The above really are more for storage, so the easiest thing for you may be just to drive it more often.

I know there's a Seattle SS group that gets together. Seen a pack of them leaving Evergreen speedway after car events

Tonight around 5:25pm I was rolling up 405 just north of Bellevue in my yellow Miata, when an EXCELLENT looking NFG with Holden badges flew by me in the toll lanes. Looked awesome! Which one of you was it?
