Just thought I’d post in case anyone was wondering. Just got my Reviver plate, installed last week and so far I like it a lot!! A downfall is that I did have to move my camera up a few mm’s but overall to me it’s worth it. Lmk your thoughts!

Worth it? How much extra for that plate?
They have different subscriptions from $29 a month for 48 months or $200 and some change for four years. To me, it is definitely worth it, as a different level of aesthetics to the vehicle.
What's the benefit of this? Is it for theft deterrent or something?
Seems like a lot of money for a plate but I also don't want to yuck someones yum. From their site it is $19.95/month for 48 months or $215.40/year for 4 years. So for four years it is $957.60 if you pay monthly or $861.60 if you do the annual payment option.

Correct, you can also pay your DMV tags through the Reviver app, your tolls for toll roads, as well as parking through the Reviver app. If your vehicle is stolen, the digital display on the license plate will display STOLEN, so citizens can spot your vehicle. It also has RFID, when police get close to your vehicle and your vehicle stolen, I t’ll automatically alert them.

Not sure about this. I like my retro California black/yellow plate as it blends in with the black in the bumper.
They give you the option for the all black with white lettering, but not yellow lettering. You can change it daily if you’d like. It’s all controlled through the app as well as the message at the bottom. You can change it as much as you’d like when you’d like.

I like that it says Holden Commodore at the bottom of the plate - pretty cool. - I'm assuming that can be customized. Overall, looks pretty slick. If it will pay for parking via parking apps like parkmobile, etc, that would be convenient.
I am confused. So you pay $215 a year just for the digital license plate? Does that include your registration fee, taxes, inspection, etc. or is that just for the plate? That is a little bit less what I pay for everything (insurance and plates) for the year!

My thoughts exactly. Notwithstanding, the tracking capabilities that this gives the liberal state of California. No thank you!
It does not, just the functionality of paying your tolls, fees, instant customization, GPS tracking, recovery assistance and according to Reviver some new options coming soon. According to their publication, soon all cars will come from the manufacturer with digital plates built into the vehicle already. Of course that’s further down the road, but it is in play already. I guess they have already met with The Big 3 and it’s getting put on the stove so to speak.
If its legal in Kali then it must be legal everywhere!

When you can hack the plate to do this, and other messages, THEN it may be well worth the up charge…

In the anti-gun states (You KNOW who you are) in your plate hack it would be best to photoshop a couple of middle fingers to replace Sam’s sixguns and substitute another four letter word for “back”.
