i looked under the fuse/relay box and i could not find which one was for the blinkers/turn signals. maybe i am blind or cannot read (which can be the case sometimes) but i don't see one. anyone know?

He probably installed LEDs in his turn signals and needs to change it out to a relay that won't cause hyperflashing.

correct

resistors are not an option, i hate using them. an electronic flasher is the way to go. besides you can't really wire up a resistor easily on the way these bulbs mount.

i looked at all three areas the side dash, under the hood and rear fuse compartment and even the manual. i don't see any relay for the "turn signals" the closest thing i found was something called "driving lamps". but even then the diagram or actual box showed no "relay" for one. any thoughts?

It may not have a separate relay for the flasher or even a flasher can. The flasher is probably just a chip on the circuit board in the instrument cluster - that is how are Falcons are so I wouldn't be surprised. I will make a call and find out tomorrow if I get a chance..

BCM controls most things so I bet the BCM has the flasher relay built in.
I'll check

Edit:
Yes the BCM holds the relay for the turn signals

thanks guys. well that idea is gone. the way these bulbs connect also also prevents you from easily putting in a resistor in as well. oh well.

You should fly out to Florida and program my car. I don't want to pull out the cluster, HUD, radio, etc from it and ship them out. :p

I'd really like to see what you are capable of doing with the SS though, I've seen your work on the Caprice and other new GM vehicles and it is amazing. I just wish it didn't involve removing so many pieces from the car to be shipped out.

What I want to know is what does Chris have up his sleeve for the SS BCM since it uses the same one as the C7 :D
