Took delivery today (sun and spare). I love it! Located in WI it was cold today but I still got a chance to get a feel. It is simply a great. I will share more thoughts as I go on.
I currently have a modified 08 Legacy GT (intake, exhaust, customer tune, Tien Coil Overs, DBA/Hawk brakes, OZ wheels) too low, too loud and I love it for some reason!, and 04 GTO (VZ Monarro Rims and tail lights plus a predator tune). I love this car and consider these GTO's to be the most unappreciated cars in recent memory Everyone who drives or rides in it is surprised at how nice it is. Recently got rid of a 96 Collector Edition Vette (LT4 with long tubes, intake, tune... etc. fun, low and fast but rough and unrefined. I like that and can appreciate it but was simply time to go) and a 13 Argento FRS (stock, was fun but it wasn't me, although everyone should drive a light, "slow" car once in a while, it is really fun!).
I am a car guy first and don't do brand loyalty well. I like cars in general and like to try a lot of things. The performance type cars include and 84 Trans Am (my first car of this type, will always be special but clearly was not really a great car but I loved how it looked and drove, lol), 84 Fiero (another really under-rated car that can be a blast to drive while not being a really great car), 86 Mustang GT (these 5.0's deserve their reputation as fun, cheap speed and I am glad that I had one), 94 SHO (started my interest in a great sport sedan that the SS carried on!), 94 3000 GT VR-4 (a really good car that was ahead of its' time in many ways), 02 WRX wagon (a favorite that I miss still)
I am glad that I have the SS now and look forward to putting miles on! I will share more thoughts as I get more time behind the wheel!
