Thank you very much and yes I did the LED tail light installation myself. There was a problem with the wiring and I had to do some modifications utilizing the factory wiring harness. They are working properly now and look great! Heartbeat plus mods and e-85 initial tune (mile high adjusted) = 707 RWHP fun fun fun >>>>> Thanks again and be safe!

So what did you have to do to get the LEDs to work correctly. I bet there are a bunch of folks out there wanting to install those LED tail lights too.

The LED tail lights I received had improper pin out for the turn lights (yellow wire was in wrong location compared to original on my 2016)
The modifications I had to do was the following, (PLEASE NOTE) this worked for me. I performed some testing first before I did the following.
(1) Removed factory wiring harness from original tail light assembly
(2) Removed and put aside the LED tail light wiring harness
(3) Used and twisted in the original amber bulb and socket into the LED tail lights
(4) Cut original brake light bulb socket (red and black wires)
(5) Spliced by soldering and heat shrinking red and black wires with corresponding red and black to LED light wiring.
(6) Re-plugged into car wiring harness
(7) Repeated for other tail light assembly
Notes: there is a (module) that is on the LED lights and a small 2 wire plug that was on the factory tail lights. I did not connect these up and everything seems to be working properly. No blown fuses or erratic operation of the LED running or brake lights. All seems to be working properly including the turn lights since they are utilizing the factory harness and pigtail assembly.
Sorry I did not take any pictures while I was doing this. Thought this might be unique to my application.
I love the way the Spyder lights look, like the HSV, unfortunately the only solution I received from the sellers was there was no information to help me and they would issue me a refund. The MFG informed me that if any modifications were performed that would void warranty. As I stated before I REALLY like the way they look and took it upon myself to do the modifications necessary. Hope this information helps. As I stated before this is what worked for me and of course please use this information as reference only and modify at your own risk as I did.

BTW, could you please get me the measurements for the placement of the SS badge on the front bumper? Or direct me to where I can find it? Because I see a lot about measurements for Holden Badges but have not found the SS badges in the forum. I purchase the SS badge for the front bumper. it think it looks sick on your car and even though mine's a 2015, I like that look. Plus mine was sold to me with 2016 Wheels hahah!!

Actually my 2016 has a spot on the bumper that’s recessed for the SS emblem. I replaced it with the LS3 badge. Not sure where to find measurements for 2015 bumpers, and I think they have slightly different dimensions compared to the 2016/17 ones. Maybe someone can chime in here that might know.

Info on removal of the SS badge please. Car is in storage at the time and I want to remove and replace with blank or red SS badge.

That might be your best bet, and i just remembered that since the 14/15 models didn’t have the front bumper ones. You got some creative freedom on your side!

I used a heat gun to loosen it up. Then used fishline to pull it off as well.
