I still do doubt if that is conclusive or not. I just tried to purchase a part from 3 different online GM parts dealers (one of them being Tasca) and each one let me put the part in and proceed to payment. On each, I halted at that point and then called to ask a human to verify if the part was truly in stock. Each one came back and said they were out of stock.
I'm ordering some tie rods right now. The Mevotech pieces shipped. OEM inners and boot kits still 3 weeks out. I'm learning most parts will have long lead on delivery. Now this is from Summit so saves me shipping. I can go to dealership or GM online at a premium $. And see them sooner. I imagine we may be trolling GTO and G8 sites for ideas eventually to keep our babies on the road.

Tasca does not have them. Ordered two and got this:

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, sometimes the demand for certain parts and accessories exceeds manufacturers’ current supplies. I apologize for the inconvenience.”
Few days ago while driving with the radio off heard and felt this almost popping similar to what I would describe as repeatedly popping a snapple top when pulling into the gas station.
This led me to drive around more attentively and noticed over roadway bumps this extra snapple pop coming...
Looks like I need to replace rear wheel bearings now. Did the front hub/bearing assemblies earlier this year. Are the bearings a slip fit on the hub or press fit? Looks like there's a retaining ring in the parts diagram.
The OEM bearings are expensive :eek at $150 each approximately. Do the...
Just letting everyone know that the G8 BMR subframe connectors do indeed fit. BMR sent a different rear bracket that was narrow enough to slide in the rear subframe, the G8 bracket is wider because there is an oblong hole to insert it through, but the VF is circular.
I wanted them for...
I am currently trying to pick a cam and wondering if I should go for A PDS cam or keep the car NA with BTR Stage 2.
I would plan to stock boost and maybe a pulley smaller max.
But I still want to hook up on the street. I have had all sorts of cars with power but they never hooked up and...
Hey guys n gals...
So I soon will be putting the car in the shop to get a nice engine build going on.. my actual question is.. I have granatelli springs on the car and the 19’s tuck a bit. If I go down to a 17in weld wheel with a bigger tire will it still tuck or will it possibly sit just...
