I always thought the LS series engines was fairly bullet proof.... then I started reading about the stock roller rocker needle bearings failing on stock engines, and in particular, cammed engines. Is this a prevalent issue? At the very most, I'll install a Roto Fab CAI, 93 aggressive tune via Livornois, Kooks headers, Kooks X pipe with green cats on my car. Will these mods put me at risk?
I'm sure my paranoia is kicking in. If it wasn't for the 20% off sale, I'd be the owner of a 2018 WRX STi right now and that EJ engine is famous for ring land piston and oil return failures.
