Goes off above certain speeds I found out the hard way that it won't come back on when pulling straight in.
Glad to see this is a known issue. I thought it was a defect as I couldn't "turn off" the parking assist light until I realized it was tied to the lane departure switch. Can anyone with a newer model SS also confirm this? I didn't read anything about it in the OM.Thanks, I'll try tapping switch when pulling in spots, was mentioned in another post. If you have lane departure on the parking assist light stays green all the time... strange
Thanks for confirming. Makes me feel better!I always have to tap it on when pulling into my garage or parking spots it seems. It stays half lit until I tap it back on then it lights up bright green. My lane departure warning is always on.
I guess you mean that you always have the lane departure warning TURNED ON, because you can turn it off. :winkI always have to tap it on when pulling into my garage or parking spots it seems. To confirm, when Lane Departure warning is turned ON, the Park Assist button is half lit green. When turning Park Assist ON, the green light will glow brighter green. When LDW is turned OFF, the Park Assist button is not lit unless turned ON, then it glows bright green. Can't post a video to show but hope this helps anyone else who's wondering.I guess you mean that you always have the lane departure warning TURNED ON, because you can turn it off. :wink
