Is the dealership badge a sticker or an actual 3D badge? If the latter a hair dryer and fishing line works perfectly, if the former just some heat and your fingernails will do. To remove any reminant glue a product such as Goo-Gone or Prepsol works, however these solvents remove any sealants/wax on the paint and will also easily mar/swirl the paint. Anytime I remove a badge I follow it up with a DA buffer and polish to remove any blemishes and follow up with my favorite wax/sealant.I like it a lot.
Since you seem to know your business when it comes to emblem removal, could I ask your advice re : the glued on dealership ad on the back -
Should I just Hairdryer and fishing line/floss it off? do I need something to clean up leftover adhesive?
Also, are the bow ties off the wheels now? How did you do that one?
Does the steering wheel still have the bow tie?
A company already offers custom programming for the cluster, HUD, and radio to revert to the Holden start up screens, however I do not want to pull apart the interior of my car and send them out to be programmed. I will wait until somebody figures out to DIY where it can be done via with OBD2 port. People have recently cracked the GTOs for DIY, so hopefully they manage to get their hands on an SS. Overall though it's not a big deal since you only see the bowtie for at most 2 seconds when turning on the car - and I'm usually doing other things when they appear. So now that you have all the physical bow ties removed, are you going to hack the MyLink to bring up the Lion instead of the Bowtie? Or will that be the last remaining tell.
What about the seats? Going to leave the SS logo ones?
PS - the dealership stickers peeled right off with my fingers. All my P-cars didn't come with any advertisements other than a plate frame, and my other new car purchases I didn't care enough to try. Sorry to pick your brain over something minor like that!
After my brother and I detailed my Monaro and Commodore I had a good friend of mine work his photography magic and shoot the cars. I am more than happy with how the shots turned out and figured I would share them with you.

Do you mind if I ask what wheel/tires setup you have on your GTO? /QUOTE]
Do you have high res versions of these anywhere? I'd love to use them as wallpaper on my laptop. After my brother and I detailed my Monaro and Commodore I had a good friend of mine work his photography magic and shoot the cars. As for the seats, I have no reason to replace brand new leather seats with other seat covers. I don't mind the SS logos, it was mostly the Chevy bowtie. The same holds true for my GTO, it has 13.5k miles so I won't be touching the seats on that either.
