Here in Northern California in our county the sales tax is 8.5%. With the guzzler tax and either option, yep, just over $50K.What do you figure it will cost with tax? Just over $50k?
Just wondering, what's your source of information on this price being "official" ? I'm just asking because my dealer here in Vegas doesn't have anything official yet.base list 43475

from what i've been reading on this forum the SS pricing break down here seems right, just missing taxes.
I wonder how much different the pricing will be up here in Canada? Usually pretty similar but differences in currency and import taxes have the potential to change things a bit.
If the SS was to be sold in Canada - which im sure you know it's not, this is a US-Only vehicle under the Chevy badge - then I would say pricing will be within the $50-55k range with an OTD of just over $60k.I wonder how much different the pricing will be up here in Canada? It had been, but I hadn't seen the Gas Guzzler tax before.
The price had been released but it was recalled. You won't find the MSRP listed on the main page of the Chevrolet website. You will see it if you click on the pic of the SS but that's just because it's part of the image. While that price may stay, I'm not taking anything as official until the numbers get ultimately released.Hasnt the price already been released?

Price is up there...love the car so far but that's pre owned V Series CTS territory. May lean towards the V. Could get a 2012 for that price....maybe a 2013 by the time the SS is finally available. Especially since the new CTS is launching soon.

A while back my dealer told me that the price recall could have meant a slight price decrease. Not holding my breath though and I believe you are ultimately correct.

Until they throw up a Configurator with pricing I'll just be waiting.
Price won't hold anyone back if they really want this car.
