I hope you saved some change for new shoes, those all season for a reason rubbers on the back ain't gonna do much but drift. You may even have a difficult time on the dyno. Looking forward to the (big) numbers.A sight for sore eyes...
Finally got my car back today after 1 year and 3 months. An engine rebuild due to failed comp cams trunions turned into a fully forged build, dual nozzle meth kit, dsx aux fuel system, clutch & adjustable master cylinder, and a whole bunch of other accessories. And it ended up costing double what I planned because I kept adding stuff while we were in there. Buy once, cry once.
Still doing break in and will do WOT tuning and dyno on 7/20.

Totally agreed! I had the engine trouble in April 2021 while traveling (about 250 miles from home) so I was on the all seasons as my "in-between" tires - in between studded snows and summer tires. I've got a set of PS4S's that are 255/285 that will be going on tonight. Those will do way better than the stock size all seasons, but will still probably not be enough. Already planning for VS forged wheels to fit PS4S 305 or 315's. I've also got 305 DR's on a drag pack but don't want to lose any canyon carving ability. And I'm really hesitant to put those on lest I start breaking the next weakest link (diff, driveshaft, axles). Those upgrades are in the planning too.I hope you saved some change for new shoes, those all season for a reason rubbers on the back ain't gonna do much but drift. Dang, that's Clean
Thank you! It’s always the cleanest car in the parking lot and not bad for being my daily driver.Dang, that's Clean![]()
One additional note about the brakes on this car. They are phenomenal to say the least. The speed limit on the parkway is 45, we were doing 40 when 2 deer jumped out in front of us. Slammed on the brakes came to a stop with no harm to car or deer. Amazing! This was the first time I had to panic stop the car and I am impressed with the stopping power. I supposed the deer was also impressed. Susie took his picture.Took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway over Labor Day weekend. Drove down to Floyd to listen to some Bluegrass music at the Floyd Country Store.

Participated in a poker run put on by the Bitterroot Valley Hotrodders Club. A wide variety of vehicles from hot rods to modern cars, sand rails to 4WDs. The SS didn't get much attention at first but after a few starts with the lopey cam more and more questions came. Nearly no one knew what it was or had heard of the SS. Many said by the end of the day it was on their list of cars to buy. Good times.
Haha, that was the airport mower (we were on the tarmac of the local airport), but I wouldn't be surprised!I see they bring tractors to your car shows. Definitely all inclusive, nice!
