Saw a local law enforcement buzzing around town with one last week in a Chevy.
Here is a picture I found online of the project Pontiac G8 police car.

The G8 and Caprice are actually pretty different. The Caprice is based on the long wheel base version. Notice the extended rear window.

As much as it sucks the Crown Victoria has stopped being produced and police forces are slowly retiring their p71's, I like the caprice as a replacement although it's not a ford. Not liking the new ford police interceptors.

You can still get away with a half decent sports car, just don't try it with a Miata or Civic.

Even with a fast car, police have radios and units patroling. You may be able to out run a cop but not many of them being called in through radio

like mentioned in the video, a mid-level sports car can easily out run one of these on a road course, but on the straight ways....not so much luck.

Yeah, and i think a lot of people are underestimating the caprice's handling. Like all zeta's its a just a well sorted car in all driving dynamics.
