I have a question. I leave the PA button on all the time. When I stop and put the car in reverse, the system works as advertised. However, when I am pulling straight into a parking space the system doesn't activate. I can stop and wait, but it doesn't come on. If I put it in reverse then back to drive, it comes on. The book says it comes on below 5 mph period. No mention of direction.
Is everybody else's car working like this or do I have an issue for the shop?

Mine does this to, a quick tap of the button wakes it up. I do this when pulling into any parking space for the curb.

I do however I can think back and remember times that it did turn it's self of when I pulled into my garage and some parking spots....

Mine does this occasionally which leads me to believe that the SOFTWARE has bugs.... and no one has answered who where when or how updates to this will be addressed.

From what I've noticed yes it only works at low speeds but the front sensors won't come on unless you put it in reverse (which activates all of the sensors right away), if you want them on in drive I think you have to tap the button like Nick says. This is consistent with my wife's SRX. I guess it's to not have it start beeping at you every time you pull up behind a car at a red light or whatever.

All I know is every time I back into my garage the sensors go ape $hit because I get close to the side wall to give my wife room to park inside as well. My favorite beeping feature is the cross traffic alert, very useful. Blind spot is cool too since it's quiet but also handy. I never turn the lane departure on, maybe only on long freeway toll road type driving, otherwise, annoying as heck. Got the front crash alert on the least sensitive setting but am thinking about turning that off all the way.
