Greetings!

Signed up to the forum the other day because I'm putting my order in this week now that my dealer got an additional allocation of one. His initial allocation was one which he ordered for the showroom floor.

The owner's manual is now online here:

Happy reading!

I noticed the windscreen wiper stalk control position is upside down, off is down not up as usual, looks like they just moved the switch from the left side (au) to the right side (us) of the steering wheel

Very awesome find! The descriptions of how the auto park assist operates and things of that nature were very interesting. Also, I was excited to see that the ventilated seats will turn on automatically in hot weather with a remote start: that's the first GM vehicle I've seen with that capability (heated has been that way for a while).

Welcome to the forum & thanks for posting the owner manual link, it's been saved to my Desktop. Congrats on ordering a new Chevy SS.

I've been checking Chevrolet's site to see if it would pop up. Good find!

Some interesting tidbits in there. The most interesting to me is a "Competition Mode" for the stability/traction control. For a car that GM doesn't seem interested in selling, they sure did put a lot of thought into it.

That is how the wipers work over here. I guess it never occurred to me that the wipers may be different elsewhere.

looking at the washer stalk and how it works. It is basically upside down and opposite so the actual mechanism works the same, it is just mounted upside down and on the left of the Holden models or depending on your view point the Chevrolet. All they had to do is print the writing the right way up for the corresponding markets.
