My owner's manual came in a manilla envelope and I was curious if Chevy has done away with providing holders, for lack of a better word, for the car's paperwork.
Chevy no longer supplies a case for the owners manual and haven't for some time now, they leave it up to the individual dealer to do their own thing with it. The dealer I work with puts everything in a vinyl case with all their dealer info on it.
I mentioned to my dealer that for a car that cost what this one does it should come with a cover of some sort , he went into his office and gave me one with with a bowtie on it and it fits the manual perfect .
I made the same comment to my dealer. He told me they have received feedback from customers and the dealership ordered their own holders for all the paperwork and manual. They did come in, and he gave me two when I was in.
I mentioned in previous posts that I got a manual and an SS brochure but no case to put it in. Mine resides in a zip lock bag, real classy for a 47,000 CAR.
Just went back today to the dealership to get some cd's still loaded in the Callaway, they let me take the case from my 2012 owners manual. Same size manual, nice to have a case.
