So last week I purchased a VCM OTR intake, for the VF, from a company here in the states. I like how it can almost pass for a factory option and it definitely feels like the car picked up some power from 4500 to 6500 rpm range. What do yall think?

What kind of air filter does it run pictures of parts before install would have been great.
Is your emblem plasti dip or is that vinyl.

Sorry, I didn't snap any pics before I installed it. I was little excited to get it installed. I believe it's a K&N filter that's in there and I put vinyl on the emblem. It needs to be redone though.

He's definitely enjoying deep, throaty heterosexual intake notes. Grats on the mod, that intake looks oem, kinda neat.

On the outside you can definitely hear it, its a lot throatier. But since I removed the mufflers and strait piped it, I can barely hear a difference in the car.

You did what? running test pipes? no cats? that must sound demonic. Video or it didn't happen..

Looks good. I had the same intake for my g8. Loved the sound, but it would throw a left bank lean code after 2-3 weeks.

Haha. I'm not that crazy. Its more like an axle back "strait pipe." Those stock mufflers made it sound too much like a 350z for my taste. I needed more small block, gas guzzler roar.

Yeah I never got a tune, it would have fixed it.

you know what? i kinda thought that too... well sort of... it has that weird tone that sounds like the $350 but a tad deeper.

btw what did that intake set you back?

btw if a cell pops up i have your solutions right here

trust me it will pop up. with just high flow cat you will throw a CEL.

Honestly, I didn't until I read this. I went out there and cut out two openings in the rubber seal. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

my CEL came on with a high flow and i got a defouler and it fixed it.
