My dealer allowed me to place order last year. Wife's G8GT was wrecked and we trade for SS Camaro till this car became available.
Car is black sunroof it is at 3100 now needs to move to 3300 and we will be on our way to getting this car here hopefully before Sept. I know they have to have a boat load to ship don't know how many that will be. Travel time on ship maybe 2 weeks than getting it from Cal. to Ga. will take a week maybe.

as for waiting for a boat load, the ship will leave on time with or without a full load, if the load is too big to go the last ordered will have to wait for the next boat.

a member showed a production schedule for the chev SS and they are only in the 600 per month range, add this to the 300~500 caprice PPV and it's about 1k per month to be shipped.

I thought the boat trip was more like 3 weeks to a month. Could be wrong though.

yep boat trip is 4 weeks dependant on weather and conditions at sea. I have heard that the cars can be stuck at the docks in the US for up to 6 weeks. Don't know how accurate that is though.

This the codes used in assy plant for production purposes.
All GM plants use this 3300 means its available for seq by the plant next will be 3500 built and so on till its shipped and out for deliver. Thanks for heads up on boat ride and dock delay. Hope this in not a GTO type screwup I order in Sept they never got the car and I'm glad all the ads and no cars G8 no adds and plenty of cars hope they get this one right 3 strikes and you are out.
