Thailand international motor expo, it looks like either Holden are running the available product list or chev can sell Holden home market cars because Thailand accept aus certification (Thailand is also RHD)

Also at 0.17 and the end is a naked (no front plate) Holden lower grill

It also has the Holden quad exhaust. I can't imagine it being for sale in Thailand, that would be big news. Maybe it is a nod to the substantial contribution Thailand made supplying components? Or Chevy teasing with a car they can't have?
I have heard of people over there driving and importing Commodores, I also understand there is a underground cult following of HSV in Japan as well.
They could possibly get a 3 litre through but a big 8 is highly unlikely for any volume sales.
In Japan, there are quite a number of 94-96 Impala SS and especially 91-96 B-body (Caprice & Buick) station wagon enthusiasts--all with LHD, too! No idea what current regs may be as far as continuing to bring these cars into Japan....their vehicle inspection program is designed to force cars off the road by way of tougher standards as vehicles age, until it becomes nearly impossible to get a clearance to keep the car on the road. The manufacturers endorse this, of course, as a way of ensuring demand for new cars continues, since it becomes economically more effective to replace a car than to continue to fight the inspection program requirements.

With an 80% tariff to sell cars in Thailand? I highly doubt we'll be exporting there any time soon.
That's the sad or laughable thing about the Noalitions demands for more exports from Holden in return for Co investment. If we actually had a Free (fair) Trade Agreement I'm sure Holden would try to pursue exporting more but it's a case of why bother. You just have to look at the Territory and the dismal numbers Ford try to send there. I think I could count them on two hands.
It's a crime that color isn't available here. Wheels too

I wish we had that orange too. Instead we got a toned down orange that I feel missed the mark. Don't get me wrong I think it looks awesome on our Ute but not a fan of it on the Sedan.

Pretty sure this is the exact same car that is in the video, they just did a quick badge swap. This is the commodore showcar that Holden showed off back in January of this year.

I noticed a manual transmission... If I could get that exact car (color/trans/wheels) I'd be at the dealership trading my car in TODAY. Lol
Good cinematography. Thanks for the share.
