The beauty of the all-new 2014 Chevy Impala’s elegant yet somewhat aggressive front end speaks for itself… and that golden bow tie rounds out the design nicely.

I haven't seen the bow tie on the Chevy SS from this angle which would show how well it rounds out the grille and front end, but from the pictures I've seen, it seems to be just like the 2014 Impala....making it just one more thing to appreciate about the SS and other new Chevy's

Gold is in right now so I don't think the gold bow tie looks cheap or anything. It would be fun if you could choose from a few different colored bow ties. Gold, black, silver, bronze.

Ozzy, I had the bowtie on my 2010 Camaro SS blacked out until I replaced it with a retro SS badge. It looked awesome especially because the car was black too.

It would be nice to see a gloss black bow tie for the performance models like the SS and keep the original gold for the family sedans and such.

Ozzy, I had the bowtie on my 2010 Camaro SS blacked out until I replaced it with a retro SS badge. It looked awesome especially because the car was black too.

Now an SS badge, that's the ticket there. I'll have to remember that, I think that would look sweet on this car.

Yeah looks pretty similar to the SS's badge. Has a nice "jeweled" effect to the gold section and the chrome outer is much larger than the standard flat gold badges fitted to the Caprice PPV

At least the conversion will be much cheaper and easier than the G8 to VE was! You can also change the lower grille if your state require front license plates

I have to agree with some of the others, that the gold bowtie is blah for a sporty car. I vote for a black bowtie. Preferably gloss black with red trim like the ones from the Chevy sport trucks in the 90's.

BTW, I blacked out the bowties on my black Avalanche and it looks 100x better.

I would black out the bowtie on the SS in the same tone of black as the grille, just so everything looks OEM and not out of place.

Here is a picture of a Cruze with a black Chevy bowtie.

It does look much better than the gold IMO.
