Howdy everyone. I've been unable to confirm exactly what the OE headliner material is for this platform, and I'm curious if anyone has been able to identify and source it. I've been able to confirm the color as Lt Titanium, but having trouble identifying the original supplier of the roll good and the name of the pattern/weave.

I was able to find this sample chart online, and I'm leaning toward Taffeta being the original pattern, but I'd like to try and confirm before I go ordering a roll to re-do my headliner.

This is quite helpful information, so thanks for posting. If you do ferret out the supplier, it would be quite helpful to others to post it here when you do. ✌

I’m thinking the same. That site is where I found the OEM samples picture.

Additionally, I’ve discussed this dilemma with a few material engineers in my org as well as a tech lead at GM in interiors. We’ve not been able to track down the original CTDAR (GM’s master document for color and grain), but we were able to pull up the old zeta Camaro version, and it listed lt titanium in the taffeta weave.

so, I have gone ahead and ordered from Miami corp. apparently it was warehoused in Cincinnati, so I’ll have it tomorrow afternoon.

I’m going to attempt this on my own as well. While I don’t have much experience with headliners, I’ve designed and launched just about every kind of wrapped interior trim panel for a number of vehicles, so I’m guessing I have a head start in understanding how to do it on my first attempt.

I’ll let you all know how it goes and maybe try to catalog some how to tips if anyone is interested.

While you're working on the headliner... which sounds awesome you'll be DIY'ing

Can you maybe figure out a way to modify the original sun visors to pull out / extend rearwards when on the side position please?

I imagine the wiring harness inside the metal rod will need to be extended with extra slack inside, maybe a spiral wound harness that wont bunch up inside the rod...
