Doug Duchardt, vice president of development at Hendrick Motorsports, explains that the nose details are a striking feature on the 2013 Chevrolet SS race car. Additionally, these details make for a stronger correlation between the NASCAR Sprint Cup race car and the production model that Chevrolet will unveil on Feb. 16 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

I like how the SS NASCAR front fascia is very close to how the production model chevy ss looks. This will definitely be a car I know some hardcore NASCAR fans will get.

Kinda cool they also have a production model Chevy SS as a pace car for the 2013 NASCAR series

the details on the nascar SS just has a imprint or vinyl pic of the real ss on it. No real headlights or anything except for the grill. I'm not that huge of a nascar fan but its alright, i'd prefer the production model of the SS for the road. But i wouldnt mind have the nascar version to hoon around in.

It's a sticker. They could just as easily made it look like Godzilla.
