I did, turned out I had a shipping rubber in the left front spring they did not remove. Removed it and no more creaking. Might be something to check.

Same here, started hearing weird creaking noises when I turned the wheel to the max, found out they left the red shipping blocks on the springs. Once removed, everything was fine.

Hey TheSlacker,

I am sorry to hear you are having this concern when turning. I would like to look into this further with your Chevrolet dealership. Please private message me your name, VIN, phone number, and dealership name. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I don't want to sound harsh, but it seems like nobody even bothers to search on this forum. I've seen so several threads made that repeat a topic discussed in great detail already... :storm:

Slacker's first post. He probably didn't know anything about the shipping block issue or what to search for.

Send a note to GM Customer service on here as well.
There is NO EXCUSE for this kind of thing. GM really wants another lawsuit I guess.

I've noticed creaking at times when I make sharp turn at slow speed.

Would I be able to see the shipping blocks by turning the steering wheel fully and looking through the wheel wells?

Problem solved. There were red shipping blocks in the front suspension. Calling the dealer in the morning. Are there also blocks in the rear?
No blocks in the rear but they did ship with rear rotor covers. Those are pretty much always removed before delivery though.

No, in the rear there are only plastic brake disc covers.

I can't believe some of these dealerships still don't take these off during PDI. Not only is it in the instructions, but there is a sticker right in front of the drivers face saying to remove the shipping blocks before delivery!

Source: I work at a dealership and did my own PDI when I took delivery of the vehicle!
