Looking like Ill have to get my deposit back from the dealership. I just don't think I'm in the market right now for one. Really don't see myself paying $800 a month for one at all.

Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll come down in price or I'll hit the lottery or something lol. Congrats to all that are able to get one. Take care.

Hey, it may turn out for the best, who knows what next year will bring. Good luck.
I won't be buying this year myself. Going to wait to see what next year looks like.

Even though we get things like manual and other variants, I never look at a first model year as I like to see if they add any goodies for updates.
The main goodies I'm after are the heated and ventilated seats, We only get heated at the moment. Maybe the paddle shifters and hopefully a little bit of red added to the interior of the Redline model

I hear they are coming for you guys!

Here in the US GM decontents after the first model year to increase profit per unit. Yes sometimes they add stuff like different engines and transmissions that aren't available on initial roll out (like the new colorado/canyon) and throw a few new options in the mix. But a lot of little things disappear or are cheapened or made optional at extra cost with each model year.

Between 2007 and 2011 MYs my exactly the same 3 yukons lost the fuzzy coating in glovebox, 2 speakers, reflectors on front door panels, beam wiper blades, metal inserted fancy door sill plates, auto dimming rearview mirror and the brushed aluminum on the dash and steering wheel was replaced with "faux" metal colored cheap look alike plastic. And the price has gone up 25% since 2007 if I build it today with the last price increase GM had a couple weeks ago!

I can't do $800.00 a month either, I'm hoping to get below $600 to make it doable.

Good credit score 700 and above 2.75/1.99 at two diff places credit unions.
For 2.75 that's about 15.29 per thousand to finance. So 5000 down reduces payment
about 76.50 a month. 40,000 is 611.60 this is for 72 months need to throw that out there.

They always do it. I remember back when I noticed the differences and cost cutting between my '96 Sierra and my '98 model. Just cool little features like a storage box under the hood where the secondary battery would go for the diesel models. And then the underhood light which ran on a retractable wire and had a magnet attached to the back of it. Pretty impressive feature. Both missing on my '98 Sierra.

While my credit score is over 700 and I don't have any debts, I still don't have $5000 to put down. Maybe $2000 at the most. It's a lot of things really. My dealer was supposed to be the first one to have the SS and now they're gonna be the last. I'm tired if the run around. I already pay $500 a month for my Cruze because I got jabbed with hidden fee's when that deal went down. I still owe $17,500 and they were only going to give me $12,500 for my Cruze. It's crappy but I guess it is what it is.

I have not backed out of my deposit with the dealership. They still hav my $500 and maybe by the time they actually get the car things will change as that's looking like a few months yet. With my kids birthday and Christmas coming up it just looks bleak right now and priorities come first.

I will wait until the car comes and see what the deal looks like. If it's too much I walk away with my $500. Simple.
