They also forgot sliding sun visors. I'm 6'2" and with the seat back I need to slide it back when moved to the side. The owner's manual shows how to slide it back, must be another one of those "if equipped". Glad I got it fully loaded with all the options. Overall though I'm happy with it. I also have the garage door opener on the visor.

My building garage uses a transponder, so at least there I'm good.

No Homelink

I had the same reaction....you mean there is no 3 door integrated garage door opener???? But then I thought, wait who cares???? And I went to Home Depot and got a Genie door opener for like 15 bucks. This car is so awesome on so many levels it doesn't matter.

When I had the XM radio installed in my GTO almost 8 years ago...the tech said to me..."this car is so NOT like a GM car. And I mean that in a good way." So...I hope the guys down under smile and realize we appreciate their talents. Holden Rules!!!!:)

My Infiniti Q45 has one and my Silverado does also, but even so, I have to take a mobile one anayway because yo can't close the door or open it from the ouside without it. The Infinity goes in the garage and we still have to bring an opener with us.

We live in a condo and our garage is a few steps away. So it's no change for us.

I have worked in AU. Aussies are good hard working basic people. Cars like a loaded CTS don't sell down there. Besides garages are not normal. They use car ports (weather is nice). They are a little quirky. Remember the G-8 GT with the Atari gauges in the top of the center stack. And the fasten seat belt light that never goes off in mirror (black tape took care of that). Too bad Holden is closing. AU has already signed a free trade agreement with South Korea and about to sign one with Japan. I read that comparing a Holden car with one from South Korea reduces the cost by 3,200A$

My Tundra has Homelink buttons, but my garage door evidently has some super pain in the ass rolling code that Homelink will not program. So I carry the supplied remote in the truck, and should I ever get around to buying an SS the lack of a garage door opener button is a very low priority.

.....I was simply trying to point out that even were the SS equipped with Homelink for many of us with newer garage doors it would likely not work right.....
Got it  .

I live in South Dakota.

Last I checked Tundras come off of the assembly line in Texas, and maybe Indiana but mostly Texas.
Just a few miles from me......

I noticed too! Just bought the car last night. I noticed it can tell me the newest movies playing and where the newest movie theater is, but now I have to haul the clunky garage door opener! I guess I will have to see if I can get a smaller one at Home Depot.
