Look at that lighting! Makes all the difference. Now we can see the chrome detailing in the front. Official pictures were lame.

I'm guessing the interior was off limits?

Interior was off limits at the time I was there. (New Impala on their display was open for sitting in however.) Sometimes that will change if you get there when they open if it's not too crowded.

The other thing is at the end of the show Sunday night, you can stay and hear all the cars fire up and drive the exit path. Might be able to hear it but there's so many other loud cars I bet it would be drowned out pretty good.

Since you mention the chrome detail here is a crop at a higher-res to see it a bit clearer:

Twin "Cities" makes me laugh.
If you want the benefits of a real car show, move to a real city. LOL

I flew to Detroit for the C6 unveilings.
If you are such a "fan", buy a plane ticket and quit crying.
Lol, dude you are too funny. I have to admit, as much as I'm left dumbfounded with what you say, I do look forward to see what you're going to post next. Kinda like a train wreck.

I plan on quitting my job to follow the SS production demo on tour across America, like I've always wanted to do with Rush.

Moving Pictures RULES, bitches!

I found it weird the interior was off limits. Unless it's a pre-production SS but I would highly doubt it at the moment.

Cool pictures though, at least people got to go up close to it.

It probably is a one-off demo. I heard the line actually spools up for production next month, so this may be one-of-a-kind for awhile.

Well today I talked to a buddy of mine. He had went around 11am Saturday and the SS was open too. He sat in it and got a good feel for how nice the interior actually is. I've seen at the auto show too where certain cars will be open when it's lower traffic then locked up when it gets crowded. I didn't get there till mid-day so that makes sense I guess.

Holden does a nice job on their interiors, especially on their upper end cars. You get the sense that the car guys won a few battles with the bean counters.
