Yeah, I'm willing to bet it will have darker tail lamps(darker than that of the Calais V), not sure what else they would change in the rear but I seriously doubt they would go back to Altezza style tail lamps.

The Shark fin antenna doesa look alot better IMHO however at least as far as the Holden product goes we get better reception from the whip antennas due to long distances we travel especially in Rural areas.
What aerial did the G8 get if it was a sharkfin style I'd put money on the Chev SS getting the same.

Y'all can call me crazy but I SWEAR i saw one of these on the road already, it was a flat grey color, and it looked like a police package, with blacked out wheels and the spotlight by the drivers mirror, almost like the PD was testing one out for future use.... It was in Stafford, VA.......

I agree. The hood looks like it was taken from a Chrysler 200. The actual SS version needs a sportier look so it doesn't seem like a downgrade from the styling of the G8.

Whats with the "side skirt", why does it curve out like that? Suppose to be something to make the commodore/ chevy SS racecar more aerodynamically sound?

It makes sure the air doesnt hit the tire and get tossed into the fender liner. It basically covers the wheel.

It is also an aerodynamic feature. Allows the air from the brake ducts to exit.
