I have a year left on my BMW lease and the SS is on my short list of next cars. This is my 5th BMW and although they are great cars, I think there are better values out there. So far my short list is the BMW M235i, Mercedes C Class, SS, Mustang. I'm sure more will be added and/or deleted over the next year. Anyway, I look forward to learning from this forum.

gotta love how much proprietary parts are for BMWs! not to mention if you can't work on them it's only a arm and a leg!
