Sorry I don't get the whole corvette flags on back of this car. it doesn't it doesn't even flow right nor is it a corvette. On another note the there are about 20 plus corvette names and flags on the new C7 one the wheel area alone that is 12! But like he said ^^^^ whatever makes you happy... But a good rule of thumb is called majority rules. ;)

you don't get the corvette Flag emblem?, but yet you sell a ZL1 steering wheel for and SS,Why not just leave it the way it came from the factory? it's all personal preference .. all i say if it makes you happy.. don't judge..
huh? because it doesn't say ZL1 on it. i don't get it because the car is NOT a corvette. you ordered the wheel right? same reason why you ordered the SS trim for the wheel right? because the ZL1 wouldn't look right correct? the same reason why i feel about the corvette flags. get where i am coming from? a better argument would be why did i put the Holden Badges on the car? but i think you know better to go there. ;)

obviously you are defensive because you have the "Corvette" flags on your car. i never said anything about them on your car. but Judge? He asked right? i am just giving my opinion because he asked..... but as you said and i said it is personal preference and like i said in my post "whatever makes you happy".

Thoughts of this in vinyl on a white car with a modified black and red badge in the front to match? The rear bowtie would be replaced with the C7 cross flag emblem....

To me, parts does not equal badging. Holden Commodore badging is OK since it really is a Commodore (designed and built) by Holden. But putting Corvette badging on the SS, well that doesn't make sense, other then it's a GM and shares the same engine. If it wasn't for the 2 holes in the trunk, I would run no badging at all.

I agree. I also find it confusing that some here have put the SSV badge on the back of the car in place of the SS. This technically is not correct either. The SSV is offered with a 6.0 litre from Holden in AU... right? The Chevy SS has a 6.2.

Flowtie on the trunk so you can breathe when I lock you ass in there.
The trunk in the SS is actually very comfortable. I locked myself in there on purpose one night and was able to get into a position good enough to sleep in lol.

Defensive ? not at all ,, more annoyed that adult men have to belittle and knock peoples choices on what they do to their rides.. seems more like Facebook girls knocking what people wear and look like.. Just saying.!

Some of us old school guys look at some of the choices you all make and scratch our heads. While i agree you should do what you like to your car, there are certain cardinal rules that any self respecting car guy/gal does not break. If they do - they have to expect a little push back.

One of them is you don't put any crap on your car that isn't true. Corvette flags on a SS is just silly. An SSV badge is wrong too.

This is after all, a public forum. If you can't take criticism don't do stupid stuff to your car that car folks are going to laugh at.

My Malibu eco badge will be ready for collection tomorrow. Best upgrade ever. I am putting the SS badge on my wifes Odyssey.

You guys are hilarious!
Although, I'm probably the weirdest of all because I don't plan any mods or other changes at all - lol! (Well, maybe a tune sometime down the road.)
That's assuming mine actually ever gets here. :(

I think a man should be allowed to do whatever he wants to his own car. Think how boring life would be if we all drove identical cars?

Me personally, I think a Holden badge on the SS is fitting. (I've put Pontiac badges
on my SS-V Special Edition Commodore - factory Holden with Pontiac front)

But I would NEVER put a HSV badge on my car, or put an AMG badge on a stock Merc or M badge on a stock 4 cylinder BMW etc..

But, like I said, at the end of the day everyone has got the right to do whatever they want. If I or someone else doesn't agree, have a chuckle discreetly. Don't put a bloke down just because you have different taste to him....

While it's true the Commodore SSV comes with a 6.0, in terms of trim level and equipment, I'm pretty sure the SSV Redline is the closest in spec to the Chevy SS. So, if you were going for the whole Holden conversion look, you would be more correct to use the SSV badge (with the Red "V"), than just the SS badge.

I like the Holden conversion for the grill and trunk lid because it is a Holden. I wish they made the SSV like they do the SS. Honestly, I like the SSV badge better and would put it on if I had a SS... But only if it was technically correct.

We have both the SSV & SSV Redline, the Redline has the red V badge, the normal SSV has a grey V in the badge. - the difference being the Redline has the Brembo
brakes, the Grey seat trim, HUD etc.
The Redline is probably the closest to the export SS.....
