Probably won't help, but try hitting the "End Call" button on the steering wheel. If that doesn't work, hold it down for about 5 seconds.

I had mine stick once switching from one bluetooth device to another. The end call button worked to clear mine up.

Mine did this on Saturday, except stuck with "Waypoint added". Couldn't figure it out, but then decided to try to add another waypoint via voice. This fixed the problem for me.

Hey Scott,

I am sorry to hear you are having this concern with your MyLink system. By chance, does this occur when you have your mobile device plugged into the system? I would like to look into this further for you. Please private message me your name, VIN, phone number, and dealership name. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Back-up Camera Issues

All..Interesting thing happend last couple of days with my system..when backing up, the camera has always worked from day one through the MyLink system until you take out of reverse mode, it appears to initially work when engaged but then dissappears showing only what ever radio station playing at the time?..The camera just disappears! (Note: the back up camera is to work fully until you take car out of reverse showing through MyLink system)..Very unpredictable!

Was there a satellite download malfunction recently which is messing all of our systems now? Something for the GM engineers to figure out I guess!

Update please!
What where you doing when it locked up?
What did you do to clear it up?
If you mean me - I had sent an address from the Onstar app under "Nav" to the in-dash.... the Nav received the data and I hit enter to 'Start Guidance' and it sat at this screen.

I tried turning the car off and then restarted the engine, but it didn't fix it.

I ended up turning the car off and going into an hour long meeting, and when I came out and started the car, I then had the option to "Continue Navigation." I hit "Cancel" and it went away.

Won't you also lose all the settings you put into MyLink?? That would suck!!
Actually no you won't, the car retains all the memory settings in MyLink and the gauge cluster. When I disconnected my battery to install my airbag I was worried about this as well. I was surprised when I saw the gauge cluster memory (trip mileage, average MPG, etc) were all retained as well.

Granted my battery was disconnected for about 30-45 minutes at most. It may be possible that if it is unhooked for a longer period things would start losing memory.

You shouldn't lose all settings when disconnecting the battery unless it for an extended period.
I noted reviewers had similar problems with MyLink freezing here in Aus but it was the volume they had trouble with. I am yet to come across any ICE (in car entertainment) system that doesn't freeze or malfunction in someway.
Usually the issue is more software than hardware, so a future update may fix these issues to some extent.

As I was shopping, I spent some time looking into the various infotainment systems. In the articles about the next generation of Sync, Ford said they will not release it before it is ready. Having used MyLink for a few weeks, I have come to believe that that comment was a shot at GM. Several things about it are, lets say, "unrefined."

My last real glitch though was when the rear-view camera remained locked on after shifting out of reverse and while driving. Turning the car off, when I reached my destination, fixed it; which is good. On my wife's 09 Chrysler minivan, glitches are much less common, though when they happen, I need to pull the fuse, wait and then replace it to reboot the system. It has happened often enough though (about once or twice a year), that I have marked the fuse so that I don't have to look in the manual to find the right fuse each time it locks up.

When Mylink or any other functions "glitch" don't get all bent out of shape.

Turn car off , open and close door to shut off retained power... wait a couple minutes ...restart and most times the glitch will be cleared and all will be right in the world.
