Just clarify. You want to play music via USB not BT? Ill see what I can find out but can't do much till I finish work. I know a couple guys testing Commodores and the systems should work pretty much the same. I'll ask them what they know
I have not had this use, I use this almost every day. Or use the Integrated Pandora application. Are you sure the USB is reading?Strange problem. Iphone (45 running iOS7) is connected via USB (for music) and BT (for phone services). For no obvious reason, after I select iPod (USB) for the music source, MyLink unilaterally switches to BT streaming (which does not sound as good). Any idea why the preference is switching?

Looks like he does, iOS 7. I just has to do a hard reinstall to my iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 because of issues (Dfu iTunes restore). Maybe that will help? I did it due to battery life issues and that was the first trouble shooting step from the apple store.Could just be a software issue. Do you have the latest iOS update?
Yes, trying to play via USB, but BT takes over. Found a work around. If I power down the phone. Once it restarts, it appears to find the USB connection first and that locks in the USB Link while the phone still gors through the BT. I also tried loading my library to a thumb drive, but the car takes too long to index 47gig of music.Just clarify. You want to play music via USB not BT? Interesting. Maybe that's for the iPod only...when using pandora I never have that issue. I don't use my iPod much but when I have it always goes to the USB over the BT.On the iPhone, the BT is simply paired to the car without syncing the phone book (too many numbers). It seems that if the car finds the BT first, it wants to lock in a preference. I tried calling customer service for the Mylink system - and not surprisingly - she had no clue. That is par for the course, when I have a computer glitch, it usually is tier 2 and above.
If I can detail more parameters, I will post.

Thanks. I spoke with someone at infotainment and she suggested I go to the dealer and see about an update or reload. There was nothing on her system for the SS vin numbers.Hey madz,
Did you call the Customer Care line or did you call Infotainment? You can call Infotainment at 855-478-7767. If you would like me to call them for you, please let me know.
If there is anything else I can do please let me know,
Kelly J.

No options on ios7 to do that. Work around was a 64 gig thumb drive on which I loaded about 50 gig from iTunes. So I think this can be fixed by simply telling the phone line out rather than BT for audio. Just like you would for BT head set or headphones.
