My SilverBeaSSt build

I wanted to create a new thread to consolidate all my threads into one build journal.

2 days after I brought it home, side vents & bow-ties black:

A few weeks or so later:

Of course engine mods, came next, and started small:

But that just wasn't enough, so:

After that I was done with the motor, for a while anyway lol!

Next came wheels, tires, and then suspension:

VMRs

Mav's Coilovers

Whiteline Swaybar end links

BMR Lower Control Arms

And how it stands currently:

Still alot more to go, but I am making progress :)

Good stuff Brian. What's next?

I'm thinking engine bay clean up. I ordered maverick's carbon fiber intake manifold cover, and will move the heater hose out of the way. I want to get some nice valve covers, and relocate the coil packs... There is lots of clutter to clean up under there!

Brian, check with Jerry (Headrat) he bought some valve covers to cover the coils. Nice look, makes it look like a big block engine.

A little update. To start cleaning up the engine bay, I got Maverick Carbon covers for intake manifold, fuse cover, and radiator cover. I moved the heater hoses out of the way, and even though you probably cant tell it, I have tucked and/or relocated several of the wires throughout. As usual, I am nowhere near satisfied, lots more to clean up! :)

That moment was worth every penny I have spent! LOL

I will be painting it eventually, just have to decide how haha... I wont paint all of it, either up to the bulge or something like that

Could we get a side shot with the new hood. Also do you have good pins?
I will try and get a side shot sometime this week, been pretty busy with the holidays and what not.

Love the car! What are the dimensions/offsets of the wheels. Tire sizes? Did your have to roll the fenders?

Brian, would you like this thread moved to the "build journal" area, or do you prefer it to stay in "pictures"?

#36 ·
Yea Martin, that would be great! Thanks!

I haven't had any issues at all with having them rolled :)
