Hey Guys,

ChevySS here! I just got the car at my dealer! I arrived as soon as I could after work but they hadn't even detailed it yet.

I was going to take it home tonight but I can't drive 2 cars at once so I'm picking it up tomorrow!
Now I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight!!:signlol:
Enjoy pics of my dirty SS haha!

Congrats on your SS that makes 4, 2 in CA, 2 in Nevada so far out of 583 cars.
Wow I'm just can't believe how fast this is going.
On another note my brother in law lives in Las Vegas retired Air Force Major Robert (bob) Dulinawka, Dullie I think was his what they called him. He works with the Civil Air Patrol.
More picks when you get it cleaned up mine is Black.

Loved the second last pic! Lucky you are not a woman, 'cos with a smile that big, you'd be getting lipstick on your ears.

What do you fly?

Congrats, but I would have left my current car at the dealer and ran off with the new one and detailed it myself :) First thing I would do would be to ditch the dealer's decal off the trunk lid. Couldn't believe that they did that. Car looks great in red. Can't wait to see more photos of her.

Congrats!

I couldn't help but notice the $149 for the door edge guards.

I hope you told them NOT to put them on (they scratch up the paint) and take it off the price.

Most detail shops will cut you off the right lengths from their roll and you can put them on yourself if you need to have them for under $20.

Congrats!

Don't let the dealer detail it!!! They will swirl the heck out of the paint (watch them, they will use brushes and dirty rags). Do it yourself or find someone that knows what they are doing!!!

I still can't get my head around why some get ready guys buff a new car. A light hand wash with 2 buckets and a new clean rag is all you need!

They haven't even cleaned it, but they sure got their dealer decal on your car fast, lol! Yeah, that would be the first thing to go for me.

Congrats! Red Hot 2 would be my color! ;)

i just hate how the dealer put their stick on the trunk lid, thankfully it's not a badge.

Because of dealer installed swirls. First thing I do is clay it to get the rail dust and other contaminants out of the paint. Swirl correction as needed. Dealers rarely use grit guards in wash buckets and all that grime gets shoved back onto the sponge/brush/mop/rag or whatever they use and goes right into the paint.

Reminds me why I wouldn't loan records to friends with crap turntables. One spin and my high frequencies would be converted to record dust.

I met a guy here in CA who was picking up a black one in San Leandro. So make that 3 in CA. Word has it the finance manager from Dublin Chevy, had his delivered to San Jose. Last Wednesday as well, making four.
Car looks great, btw!
Got to do something about that pickle suit though :)

Whatcha flying?
