What's stopping the dealer from ordering a new SS for display and test drives?
I would guess that dependant on the dealer there theoretically should be no reason they can't.
On another note the last VE rolled off the line Thursday our time, A member of this forum was the first to start up the last VE SS Z series I think it was Asylum. And there are already pilot build Chevrolet SS rolling down the line. I think VF goes into full swing next Monday

im hoping some dealerships won't be as hard headed as Chevy is and make an effort to do something right for the chevy fans out there, and at least make an effort to bring over a few SS sedan's. maybe an enthusiast heavy dealership will do it?

I bet you'll be able to test drive one of these cars no problem. If you're at a large dealer, they'll have one in stock. As long as you are serious about the car, you shouldn't have a hard time getting a test drive. Think of all the 'limited edition' cars GM has put out in the last 10 years. They were all on dealer lots and ready to drive. I've driven the SSR, XLR, Z06, G8 GXP, CTS-V and GTO on test drives. Give the dealers a few months to get one in stock, and as long as the salesman isn't a jerk, you'll get your test drive.
