My first mod. Some PlastiDip and a vinyl emblem insert.

Tint, wheels, lower it, Holden badges, and then performance mods.

Man, I hope Holden is using US based specs for their wheels now.It was nearly impossible to find aftermarket wheels for the GTO. Nobody made anything with the right hub bore and offset for sale in the US. You could get close with some wheels spec'd for BMWs but the hub bore was too big and you needed hub rings. I eventually surrendered and ran the stock 17's. They didn't look great but the car rode the best on them by far.

I actually like the SS wheels. I'd prefer a straight machined finish with clear coat rather than the polished look, but I wouldn't be in a rush to change them.

I doubt it. But I do know one of the guys on gminsidenews is working for a company bringing in Australian wheels to the US.

No 20's for me. I'm already wary of the fact that the SS has 19's. They look great, but they can really deteriorate the ride quality over something smaller and with a little more sidewall.

Tint's a must in Florida. I've seen close ups of the wheels and if those are the production version they look pretty good. There's a polished machine finish and then matte finished inserts in the spoke areas. I'd like to see a less prominent Bowtie and some sort of SS insignia up front. I'm nitpicking though. The more I learn about the car the more I like it.

No performance mods for me. 415hp is plenty of grunt, and I never want to give GM an excuse to refuse warranty repairs. They were pretty brutal on the GTO's.

Holden grill and badges, airbag cover, and I bet someone will be able to pull the Holden emblem out of the splash screen!

I like the little photochop of the Chevy badge on the SS being blacked out. That's definitely on my list. Going to do it to the Chevy badge on the trunk as well.

As nice as chrome looks, there's something about a stealthy matte black badge that I like.

really? you are going to convert it to holden?

I don't think the holden conversion will really be that popular.
I actually see it happening the other way around. Europeans turning their Holdens into Chevy's.

If I was them I rather have the Chevy badge just for a much more simplistic look, plus it complements the Chevy SS design better IMO.

The stock emblem overpowers the front end. That thing looks like it weighs ten pounds to me. Toning it down a little puts the rest of the design in better balance.
