OEM with 3M Vinal Wrap. Real carbon Fibre to expensive to engineer to pass crash testing requirements.

I know I'm splitting hairs, but adding vinyl to the aluminium hood technically is adding weight not a huge fan of the look either. I can't wait to see someone do some neat hood vents similar to Jaguar's

Since you've done exhaust, can you tell us if the exhaust between the VE and VF are interchangeable?

Very nice. I thought that if I get rid of my sickness-modded G8 for a nice new SS that I would leave the new car alone. When I see things like this, I realize that leaving it alone isn't in the cards.

good point with that being said i can't wait for aftermarket companies to come out with them, i think it will go well on some colors.

Best part about the SS, is it shares the engine with other Chevy products; hopefully making it easier for us to get upgrades from the get-go.

Yep it's just a promo shot to show what's lurking beneath the black bonnet (hood)

Now that's a killer color combo, it's like the perfect british racing green alternative, and those black stripes complement it so well.

BUT I still love how silver looks on the SS, even Black.

this car is a hsv in prussian steel with black stripping, it is very light sensitive so depending on the type of light and viewing angle the colour goes from wow to crap very quick.

Very true, the same goes with a lot of paints, actually most paints. You need to see them in person to really have a say in how they look. Pictures only show you so much
