Well I was told by parts that these mirrors are cast in color. Don't know about red silver or white. I actually tape mine of and buffed them the scratches are almost gone left a lot of black on buffer so it is not clear coated neither is it phantom Black no metal flake. All my Camaros and vetts are painted body color still want to know if anybody else can tell if their mirrors are painted phantom black.

Sorry for late replys gave car second wash in day lite what a mess finished interior clean and windows now have floor mats in and my trunk mat out of c5 installed.
Looking good need to do sealer tomorrow and set up radio and nav phone and memory seat for wife and I.

hey doug.... looking at top of my white one , they are definitely painted.... and then they were covered with plastic wrap..
