All I could figure here in La La land (Ca.) is that the initial drive from the ship, down the waterfront road, then up the hill to the holding and inspection yard is about 3/4 of a mile. Then the cars are driven in the yard during inspection and re-grouping them for shipping. Then the out of state cars are driven about 1 1/4 to maybe 1 1/2 miles to the rail yard. I wish I could see what mileage they had coming off the ship!!!

Unfortunately, my car had a few more miles when I took delivery (44). I bought in Van Nuys and the car had to be brought in from about 35 miles away. Good news was this was mid day in traffic and there was no way possible for the delivery driver to go over 40 MPH. Also, thank god, the driver was on the mature side.

They would pick up a little mileage when running on the dyno at the factory for various tests plus the short rattle n squeak loop they have. the movement for Outer Harbour would be negligible, and the only real unknown is movement when they switched ships
