Just got a note from Matt at Magnuson saying that they will start developement on the 2014 SS 'Heartbeat 2300' shortly and hope to have it available in the early summer. And it will have a CARB EO number!!! This is great news for those of us in this goofball state.

Unless the Heartbeat really works some magic I think I will be leaning towards whipple. Not only is the Whipple more customizable, easier to upgrade and can be had in a variety of colors, but it also can be had with a warranty that not only covers the blower, but damage caused by the blower up to $8k dollars. Last time I checked a crate LS3 was around $4-4500. Not a bad deal.

An extra 100-120 hp with a supercharger for $6-7k. Hmmm a beast for sure. I'm just jealous of the Audi S4 that gets a factory backed 80+HP for $1700.

120+ hp is safe and easy on LS3's with no other mods. With some headers, high flow cats , 10 psi or less through a blower, a cold air and a good tune ....150 shouldnt be a big deal.

Heck the LSA is basically a supercharged LS3 and they safely make 556-580 (rated).
