My clutch has gone out and I missed out on the Hawks clutch and flywheel liquidation. The OEM part numbers are about $1000 for the clutch and flywheel.

What has everyone been using to replace the the clutch and flywheel?

Does anyone have the LUK part numbers? It would be way cheaper than getting the LUK clutch delivered in a General Motors box.

How's the chatter in neutral at a stoplight? My z06 has one and its noticeable but that car is far from quiet in the first place so its not a concern.
I would like to know this as well - Also is there any change in chatter when the clutch is depressed? I have had clutches that were fine in neutral, but loud chatter when you disengage to go into gear.

Most owners that I know just go with the S series unless they are putting down some big numbers
I mean options like the remote speed bleeder. My buddy had a '04 GTO and he said it was basically required on them.

There's a bunch of additional options here? Would you recommend any of them?
Get the speed bleeder as mentioned above. Also get the billet release bearing support, it replaces an OEM plastic part. Kit also includes a new slave cylinder which you should do while you're in there.

Has anyone noticed that the online GM Parts places are listing the OEM clutch assemblies for sale again? I just ordered mine, pressure plate and clutch disk, part #92259197, and pilot bearing part #12557583. Total was $311 with tax and shipping. Hope this helps someone out

You cannot resurface a Dual Mass Flywheel!!! You will need a new one to do this job right!! Also,, do not skimp on all new hydraulics either!! Why do things twice,,, when you are IN THERE ALREADY!!!

Jus Sayin!!

Good Luck!! (OR is it,,,, Luk,, ((OEM Supplier!))!
