Look what the Aussie madmen are up to

A lot of work went into that car, and it looks like it really paid off. How much to you think this tuning package costs?

I wish that the video would have shown the SC SS on the road driving a bit after they finished with all the tuning and upgrades.

The sound of that engine is perrrrrrrfect.

This thing is a beast, I just wish Hennessy would hurry up with their Chevy SS, can't wait to see what that will be like, im just scared of how much it will cost

Best thing is a lot of the performance development for the G8 GXP should transfer over, and anything not yet developed in USA should be ready from an Australian firm

If exhaust is the same you already have a good availability of headers that will fit the car great. I hope most of that hasn't changed at all.

Being able to drive one if you can't afford one or don't know any friends with them will be tough. If you can afford it, it will be amazing, nothing beats smoking supercars and cars worth way more than your car

The exhaust manifolds are the same as the GXP, but the cat pipe and main exhaust pipe have different part numbers from the GXP.

So the G8 headers may or may not work.

because its so obscenely over the top i can only weep tears of Joy and the potential... Cant wait to see what Callaway or Hennesy is going to get up to with the SS

I like the numbers it's putting down but unlike the US the Aussies have the pleasure of running premium 98 octane vs our 91 to 93 octane. It also is running with no cats. With those same mods I'd expect horsepower figures to be just under the 600 mark which are still killer numbers!

Don't forget the Aussie SS is the 6 litre not the 6.2 it shouldn't make a huge difference though.

Don't forget the way that they arrive at their Octane ratings is completely different than ours. I believe their 98 is actually similar to our 93.
