Local FL dealer told me SS is coming next year?

I called my local Chevy dealer here in Tampa today to see if their SSs had arrived so I could see one in person. They also happen to be the biggest Chevy dealer in the state. They told me their SSs are coming next spring? Are they confused or is there that long of a delay for East Coast dealers to get their cars??
