Do not look at Green then, its Mystifying in person!
Yeah, who knew that such a limited number of colors would make it so tough to choose. When we had our GXP there was no doubt, Black.

This is my personal vote, and if it were mine, is exactly what I would do, but with that said, it's not mine. Hopefully a decision will be made today ;)

A dyno vid with baseline numbers would be awesome as well. I know what a black SS looks like already. LOL

That will come shortly after ;)

DITTO...would be interesting to see how it compares to Hennessey's baseline dyno.

This seems high compared to what we saw on the G8 GXP, I realize this is a different car (to an extent) but that's about 35-40hp higher than we normally saw on a Auto GXP's and is even higher than we saw on most Manual cars.

I know, I know, I did a big no no, I compared the two. However, I see no reason why it would lay down an extra 40hp stock than a GXP...
Electric power steering and better exhaust? Maybe a bit more aggressive tuning? Does the LS3 vette motor have the same cam as the LS3 camaro or even GXP?

The GXP exhaust was pretty good, so maybe 2-3 if this has an "excellent" factory exhaust, but not 10-15 difference. Likewise with the electric power steering, a few hp, but not 10-15. Take note to the Camaro ZL1 vs the CTS-V in power rating. the ZL1 had electric power steering, a better heat exchanger, better supercharger lid design, better cat-back exhaust, better air inlet, better exhaust manifolds, and it only netted another 24hp over a CTS-V.

EDIT: All LS3 engines (save for the Dry Sump engine used in the Grand Sport Corvette) have the identical camshaft part number, even the GS has the same camshaft specifications, but a different part number because it has a 3-bolt design instead of a 1-bolt design.

The assembly plant doesn't know what it's going into until the oil pan and accessories are mounted to it.

Same dyno at two different times in the day will give you a different reading. Point is maybe they used the same dyno but years apart and what about relative temps at the time. Do we know if the correction factor changed or if they even used one?

All things being equal the tester, pressure, & temps would all have to be the same. This can account for a 10-15 difference. To me it's close enough although it is nice to see the SS a little higher even if it may not be.

Andy, will your CAI/ Tune packages also tune the TCM and adjust the shift firmness to increase longevity of the 6L80E or does it just adjust the fuel trim to compensate for the CAI?
