Guys,

I know many of you have been waiting in anticipation for this moment. Shortly after receiving our 2014 SS, we put it on the dyno and ran a baseline. After this we immediately began working at improving upon the factory calibration. With our knowledge and experience on this platform we were able to make strides very quickly, and now are ready to release our custom tuning for it. Below is the video featuring the baseline, and run with our finalized tune.

We plan on continuing development for this, and moving towards testing further products. Stay tuned!

Does this tune change any shift parameters?

So we have about a 17.5% horse power loss from 415 hp rating thru the trans not being broke in cause some of this.

Indeed it will include our transmission calibration improvements as well.

I am sure it will make a few more HP with some miles on it, But this is right in the range I expected based on our extensive database of auto G8 GXP's that have been baselined with various levels of mileage.

When will this tune, and the vehicle to apply it to another SS, be available on your site with pricing?

Likely tomorrow, usually the video takes longer to make than the web content, but not this time. It also will support all future approved upgrades that we offer. Example: our camshaft package, approved air intakes, headers, and our upcoming supercharger system.
Ok, I pulled some strings and got them to get it live for you guys tonight!

Does this tune work for us CA drivers with 91 octane??

While these results are from 93 octane, we do support 91 octane. The peak numbers will be lower, but the gains are similar as you would have a slightly lower baseline as well.
Placed my order this morning. Looking forward to getting it installed and testing it out, particularly the transmission tune improvements.

Same here. Can't wait lol. And just to let everyone know, when ordering you should supply your Vin and octane level you plan to use.
This is correct. I'm having them update it to specify this on the site. It was an easy oversight at almost midnight. Thanks for the orders guys! Also, I am eager to hear your feedback as well!

I had a vector tune on my GXP, but I am not familiar with the AIW device. Can you give a brief cliff notes explanation of how it works, particularly the install?

Thanks

The install is very straightforward. After receiving the device you simply plug it in to the OBD-II port of your car, and follow the on screen prompts. Should you want any revisions to your tuner, whether from personal preference, or because of added modifications, you contact us, we upload the tune to our server, and then you run the update program on your home computer to receive the tune. After this is complete you install the new tune.

It's much easier than all of the previous methods we have used to tune vehicles as there is no need to lug a computer out to the car, no need to store your own files, it's all handled through the device itself.

Im not sure how the stock transmission calibration is on the SS but if it's anything like on the G8 you guys are going to LOVE the way the car drives after the tune.:goodjob:

Thanks for the prompt response. Does the unit need to stay plugged into the OBD-II? or is it removed after file transfer?

Thanks again

Given that the roto fab cai is about to be released, what sort of gains would one expect with tune and cai?
