Does anyone with the car know if it has the lane change feature on the directionals? I've search here and looked at the tech specs. on the Chevy site and don't see any mention of it.

I'm talking about how with a lot of cars you can press the turn signal a little, not until it 'clicks' on, but just push it a bit and the directional will flash like three or four times and then stop. I've seen a lot of higher end cars that have this and it's great for making lane changes on the highway. Just wondering if they included it on the SS. Seems they thought of most everything else.

If I am not mistaken, there is a setting in MyLink that allows you to choose three or five flashes. May be getting the truck and SS mixed up again.

Nice, thanks! I don't have that feature in my current car and don't understand why all cars don't have it. It's really nice to have.
I'll tell you what a great feature is. I mentioned it months back in this forum but thought I'd mention it again.
"Blind Spot Warning"
On my Charger R/T Max, in addition to the visual warning in the side mirrors if I touch the directionals when there is a car in my blind spot (or anywhere close) I immediately get an audible alarm. I think it's something you need to experience in order to really appreciate it.
When/if I ever get an SS, I will definitely look into wiring the the audible alarm into the Blind Spot Warning alarm.

I've actually started doing something that was recommended by someone from the Camaro board. I point the side mirrors out a bit more than average which then covers the blind spot. Between this and the inside rear view mirror you can see everything. It takes a bit of getting used to but it seems to work well.

I believe it already does that I can't remember just this moment. Not driving till all the rock gravel and ash are off the road.

I've done this for years and works great. Put head 2 inches from drivers door glass adjust so you just see the side of car, next lean over to middle of car and adjust pass side mirror to just see the side of car inside mirror adjust to see straight out the back and you are covered. Being a vett driver I needed something with the blind spot and this was it.

My father taught me that when I learned to drive in 1968. He had been a Cheaufer before. Get widw angle coverage, try not to duplicate what you see in the other mirrors.

Ditto. Learned it from the boys at Car Talk. Also taught at HPDE courses.

The SS has indicators built in each side mirror. If a car is there they light up.
And they blink at you when you signal that you're going that direction. No audible alarm though. I'm ok without an additional beep from the car.
