I've got it installed in my 2017, initial impression is positive! I'll update this thread by weekend when I get to do some in-depth testing. Customer support so far is positive.
I'm not one for Velcro/double side tape & zip tie mounting. I made a pair of mounting brackets to securely mount it into the car. Note provision for the vent is put in place to keep the unit cool.
