Ok Everyone.
I picked up the car from Kooks this afternoon. Sounds and drives great.
I'll put some time on it then it's off to Rousch on Monday to run a series of Dyno pulls.
Our plan is:
1) Baseline,done already pulled 357RWH
2) Kooks Headers and exhaust
3) K and N CAI
4) full tune
For those that want to know Kooks has Proto's on mine. They have been digitized and will be available to you all in 2 ,tops 3 weeks.
1 3/4 Headers ,3" to Hi-perf cats, 2 1/2 pipes to mufflers with quad 3 1/2 outlets. Pictures to follow in a few days. Lets hope for some really good numbers

My Hennessey upgrade will include either Kooks or Stainless Works headers, but not until the production versions are commercially available. Thanks for making your car available to Kooks for prototyping and I am glad to hear they are just weeks away now.

The Rousch Dyno is a Dynojet. All my numbers will be on the same unit so comparisions should be good for add-ons. I'll get sheets for all the tests once we're done and post for all.

KW,

When you get your SS, there's a shop in New Braunfels that can do any and all you want on it. He's good, if you want particulars, LMK.:)

Yeah Bob.....I believe that's the place my engine builder recommended for the tune on my '96 SS.

If you have his info.....PM me when you get the time :) .

Thanks!

KW,
I'm going to have Rousch do the tune. They have a guy from Concord,( Charlotte suburb) do all their tunes so that'll be my plan. Hope this works as good as Levernois tune as everyone seems really happy with that setup but I'm 4 miles from Rousch and good friends run the shop and Dyno so I know they'll do their best for me. Should have results next week.then I have to find a close 1/4 mile track to see what we have !! No track close to me I can use unless I can find a way to get it done at z-max. They have no open track days that I can see.

Use to be 1/4 mile track in Concord it's now a subdivision I ran the start line for a few years back in the 60's. Oh Shuffle Town had 1/8 mile track.
